This oil painting depicts a warm day in September of my wife carefully stepping out of the water after enjoying her last swim before winter. The beach is an area quietly tucked behind the Nordlåna building on the Nord Levanger campus. The title “The Last Dip” looks to invite conversation on social maritime activities, seasonal changes and global warming.
